Star Seller on Etsy with AI products
Is this even possible?
AI designs are controversial. As a graphic designer, I don't consider myself an artist, and personally, I will never refer to AI images and designs as art.
However, I do see the connection between artists and AI. In the right hands and with a creative mind behind it, AI can generate fantastic results.
Let’s talk more about AI today.
MEDIA
The Adobe Controversy
Adobe, the company behind Photoshop and Premiere Pro, is facing huge backlash after making small changes to its terms of service.
The controversy began when Adobe updated its terms of service and required users to agree to give the company access to their content via "automated and manual methods" in order to keep using its software.
And these 'techniques such as machine learning' may be used to analyze your content to the Adobe improve services, software, and user experiences.
The update went viral after people took Adobe’s vague language to mean that it would use their work to train Firefly, the company’s generative AI model, or access sensitive projects.
All this bad PR is leading people to find alternatives to Photoshop.
For me, the best paid alternative is Affinity Photo, and the best free option is Photopea. If you want to learn how to install Photopea for free on your computer, check out this simple video tutorial.

EXPERT TIPS
Where Should You Sell Your AI Designs?
AI usage is becoming increasingly popular, and many people are considering monetizing their AI designs.
There is nothing wrong with it, but the main issue is that AI images and designs are flooding some marketplaces.
This simply means more competition.
And it also leads some marketplaces to not accept AI designs.
So, where can you sell products made with the help of AI?
Amazon KDP - ✔️
Redbubble - ✔️
TeePublic - ✔️
Etsy - ✔️
Adobe Stock - ✔️
Freepik - ✔️
123RF - ✔️
These are marketplaces where I have successfully uploaded and sold some AI products. However, other designers have even better lists.
AND FINALLY
Learn to use AI.
I know it's hard to admit, and as a graphic designer, I realize I'm losing ground to this technology. However, you need to learn to use AI if you want to survive.
Don't fight; learn to use it to your advantage.
If you want to learn more about AI and how it can help you with content creation, I have a second newsletter called The Zilahut, where I teach people how to cleverly use this technology.
Have a nice day,
